Shvabe” and Belarusian Automobile Plant Increase Cooperation
With the participation of a subsidiary of Shvabe Holding, the production of special vehicles for the market of the Republic of Belarus will begin in Brest.
The project will be implemented by the Holding's subsidiary, Shvabe-SpecAuto, and the Brestmash plant. This step will be a continuation of cooperation of the parties.
According to the agreement, it is planned to produce ambulances, vehicles for transporting people with disabilities, cars for transporting goods, police cars and other vehicles.
Shvabe-SpecAuto will hand over to the partner sets of machinery and the LADA wheelbase. In turn, Brestmash will continue to supply MAZ chassis. Today, special vehicles are already being produced on their basis in Russia. A significant contribution to this work is made by the Shvabe-Moscow company, which oversees the process of development and execution of deliveries.
The launch of co-production was announced in Brest, where the general director of Shvabe-SpecAuto Nikolay Sandugey and the director of Brestmash Alexei Brazhuk in a solemn atmosphere signed the corresponding document.
Among the guests of honor at the event were Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Pyotr Parkhomchik, Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Rogozhnik, Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Yuri Shuleiko, General Director of MAZ Valery Ivankovich, as well as representatives of ministries, committees and departments.
